First time and I'll have to day the food was delicious, the broccoli was super buttery and cook superbly. The staff was very friendly... I like how I could ask another server for something and she not tell me let me find your server... They put the customers first and ensure they are token care of. We will be back..
Stopped by for lunch to get out of the terrible rain. But once we stepped inside and were quickly seated a ray of sunshine broke through the dark skies. That ray of sunshine was our server Nick. Nick is not just a pretty face, he provided excellent service with a smile!
I have ate at cracker barrel a lot I love their breakfast which I get 95% of the time. Always great service from my wait staff.
I wish every server I had was exactly like Nick. Promote this man. Food was good, like always.
After a less than spectacular day of driving in the rain and northern Virginia traffic, chicken and dumplings was just what the doctor ordered. With hot biscuits on the side. Actually, my doctor would kill me, but it's worth it.
He was both patient and understanding and went out of his way to explain the menu to a member of our group with developmental problems.
