Very friendly owner, good campground shower/toilet facilities, and easy access to national parks. They also had firewood onsite. No complaints.
Nice off the beaten path campground. Bathroom facilities are pretty rustic, so if you're into glamping, this isn't the place for you. But if you're into a quiet place, with a peaceful creek and restful surroundings, this is the perfect place to kick back around a stone fire pit, relax and enjoy nature at its finest. Due to circumstances out of our control we ended up here for a few days. It will forever be one of our most memorable Easters ever. Thank you Gloria for hanging on to this little peace of heaven.
Nice spot for inexpensive camping. Not much to the campground, privately owned. Near a busy roadway so there is some vehicle noise...
Cool little campground with a creek running through that you can fish from. The owner, Pam, was very nice and our site was clean and quiet. This is a great place to get away for a few days.
We loved this campground. We are into the off the beaten path woodsy campgrounds and this fit the bill. Pam, the daughter who is running the campground now is a very pleasant and helpful lady with some great stories to tell. If you are looking for a commercialized modern up to date campsite this place is not for you. There are a couple of full hook up sites but most are electric only designed for tents. Gooney Creek is beautiful and offers fishing. My daughters came camping for a couple of days and Pam was very accomadating. We hope to stop here again in the spring on our way back north. The only issue which didn't bother us is highway noise, If you are a light sleeper you may have issues.
