It looks like the maintenance has been let go and is in need of some love. The pool was green and 1/2 full, the shower house/bathrooms need a major cleaning, picnic tables were sketchy, lawn/landscape was poorly maintained, firewood for purchase was wet (moldy)...
This would be a last resort for me (which it was this time due to the national park service campgrounds being full).
Stayed in the cabins. It had one bunk bed and one double. Beds were comfortable. It also had AC that worked well, that was nice. Very quiet. Pool was very nice. Hot tub wasn't functional. Had showers, they were clean, though a tad small. I hit my head when trying to wash my legs. Bathrooms were alright, though the handicap stall stunk to high heavens every time I went in there over the course of the 6 days I stayed. Laundry requires quarter- bring 3 dollars worth of quarters if you plan on doing laundry. They have a little convenience store of types in the registration & bathroom building place. There are areas to build a campfire in front of each cabin. The road in and out is 1 lane and there are adorable cows. Really pretty area, with views of mountains. Really enjoyed being here with a couple of friends, will definitely be doing this again next year.
Nice treat tucked back in the woods, and I do mean "back in the woods". It was a pleasure to see log cabins, to rent. Nice size pool, outdoor activities. Our friends had a (40)rig (aka) bus, they had a convenient easy access site. It is best to call ahead for reservations, based on the access to this site. We would definitely recommend this facility.
It's not a destination campground but great for a few nights. This place has good bones , a doable make over in need as it just needs a touch up here and there: light up the bathroom and showers (too dark now), fix the hot tub, weed around the mini golf (nice owner gardens, should be easy). And figure out a way to level entrance off the street and widen road in. Great pool, great staff. Close to river activities and town. Would stay here again.
This place is off the beaten path and the road leading in/out is only wide enough for one vehicle at a time. Sites are not very level and are close together. Looks like a (Former) KOA that broke off and went Independent.
