The staff up in the front we're not very helpful at all. When I informed them that I did not have insurance and would be paying cash they actually snickered and looked at each other and rolled their eyes.. Then proceeded to tell me that a simple doctor visit to start was $150.. Yet the Urgent Care in Winchester is only $85 LOL.. People want to know what's wrong with the healthcare system in America, well it is places like this. Greedy corporations who could care less about the patient and more about the dollar. So, if you're stuck in the middle or between jobs and cannot afford Obamacare and so on then you are basically screwed if you go to a place like this. They do not care and they actually laughed pretty much when I told them I would go elsewhere. They could have cared less that I decided to leave. Sad part is it's the same girl up front with the same attitude that was there when I took my daughter a few weeks ago

Lovely staff, very kind and accommodating, clean building, and short wait time. I'm not sure why this place has so many bad reviews and I'm glad I didn't allow them to deter me. I was just here on a Wednesday evening because I was having UTI-like sensations and sharp upper back pain. They tested me immediately and said there was nothing to be alarmed about. My urine test was negative and the doctor did a thorough examination of me and said I was having muscle issues in my back and to apply heat and follow up with my GP. I've been doing that and the back pains have gone away. Today (3 days later) they called to check up on me and make sure that I was ok. Very kind and professional! I'd also like to add that I was also here in the Fall or Winter (can't remember right now) (2016) with my toddler who had Nursemaid's elbow and the doctor who popped it back into place was very kind and took good care of her. I'm so glad to have a place like this in our community. God bless these ladies!

I do not recommend the lady Dr that I saw on 3/12/17!! I waited 3 hrs in the waiting room. Finally got in the office. Had an x-ray done. The lady Dr does NOT know what she is doing!!! She said I had a sinus infection and that there was no such thing as bronchitis!! I know that is wrong. She was going to treat me for a sinus infection when clearly I had either bronchitis or pneumonia. Finally she left the room. Came back twenty minutes later and said she was treating me for pneumonia. Well, I have asthma. She gave me antibiotics with no, I repeat, no steroids for my lungs!!! Well, I am now at the ER and staying overnight at the hospital because she did not give me the proper meds I needed to heal!!! The first thing the ER Dr did was give me steroids in my IV!!! She told me not to go to the lady Dr at Urgent Care again because she apparently does not know what she is doing. Furthermore, she verified that their is a such thing as bronchitis!!!

Find out in advance if they can help you, they charged me nearly $200 for something they can't even help me with. I could've gotten a better service for only $10 for the first 3 minutes.

I would NEVER recommend to anyone I know or love going to Valley Health Urgent Care. My fiancé went in there with shortness of breath, vomiting, fever and his heart rate was through the roof. After a 70 dollar copay for the Urgent care the doctor told him that he just needed to relax and take deep breaths and he would be just fine. She told him that he had a virus and it would run its course. Two days later he woke up with severe chest pain and he couldn't catch a breath. He was admitted to the hospital for 5 days and underwent multiple procedures to correct the organ failure that he was going through due to the pneumonia that was straining his heart. The pneumonia was so severe the doctors said that it mimicked a heart attack. The doctor told him if he would have waited another day or so he would have been on a ventilator. Do yourself a favor and find another urgent care because I came very close to losing my fiancé due to the lack of attention and knowledge by the doctors at this facility.
