Not good. Called to confirm you had a particular generator...was told you did and would hold for me. Came to store less than three hours later, no generator. Need generator, saw one slightly more expensive but sign said "10% off marked price" which made it close enough. Pulled box out, box had been opened, no sign of instruction booklet, small parts. Female clerk unable to verify contents. Made arrangements in case parts were missing. Went to checkout after lengthy wait for a cart (weight 235 lbs). Had to put on cart myself basically, clerk ( no clerk) able to lift that much. Went to checkout. Showed military I'd, another 10% off. Mgr offered a third 10% off for open box and lengthy weight. Pushed cart out, was told he'll coming to load into truck. Maybe half hour still no help arrived...meanwhile looking at receipt and calculating price minus discounts showed over billing of $150 (approximately). Went inside, had it corrected. Help showed up...50ish gentleman, that's it. With help from physically restricted 69 yo father the three of us got it into truck. Altogether a very unsatisfactory visit...getting the generator should not entail all the hassles, wrong price charged, lengthy time spent. Would have expected Lowe's to send original generator they were supposedly holding for us by truck for free delivery instead of making your problem our problem. Will definitely remember this negative experience and share with friends who have had similar poor service at Lowe's. Been living in the area for 30 years, involved with police, fire, healthcare. Word of mouth can be your best advertising, or your worst.

We wanted to buy fixtures for our bathroom remodel, but there was no one around to help us, so my partner went to Home Depot in Winchester. The Lowes in Front Royal seems somewhat under staffed. I love your garden center though, gorgeous plants.
Spend 10-20k here a year as a contractor. The minute you ask for a 10 percent or a discount like the rest of the milatary guys, your dumb and a bagger. Own a company, shop at real lumber yards and get a real discount! Sorry Guy (mg) we don't have time for bs.
